International Open Stage Night
I’m standing in the front of the spotlight
Everybody’s looking at me
I try to strum my guitar strings
but honestly I can’t hear my voice sing
just some fragmented verses leaving my lips
I push myself forward just to move on
but then I realize that I play the wrong song
it’s getting warmer making me sweat
I try to improvise but it gets worse
I know need to calm down my nerves
Finally I smile and start from the scratch
And you learn how to fail and you learn how to sink
when you’re flying too high on a broken wing
the higher you climb the deeper you may fall
You become a human being just like anyone else
when after riding to the stars you come back to Earth
before you earn your prize you gotta know
You gotta learn how to fail, you gotta learn how to win
You gotta learn how to rise, you gotta learn how to sink
And it ain’t no secret, and it ain’t a joke
you gotta eat some dirt before you get gold
International Open Stage Night
I’m standing in the front of the spotlight
Everybody’s looking at me
I got the right words and I got the right song
Nothing’s strange here, nothing’s wrong
I’m just enjoying to be out of this jam
‘cause sooner or later I know I’ll fail again
And you learn how to fail and you learn how to sink
when you’re flying too high on a broken wing
the higher you climb the deeper you may fall
You become a human being just like anyone else
when after riding to the stars you come back to Earth
before you earn your prize you gotta know
You gotta learn how to fail, you gotta learn how to win
You gotta learn how to rise, you gotta learn how to sink
And it ain’t no secret, and it ain’t a joke
you gotta eat some dirt before you get gold
You gotta learn how to fail, you gotta learn how to win
You gotta learn how to rise, you gotta learn how to sink
And it ain’t no secret, and it ain’t absurd
before you get your gold you gotta eat dirt
